Biman Bangladesh Airlines has temporarily suspended flight operations from Dhaka to Narita, Japan. Flight operations on this route will be suspended from July 1.<\/p>\n
Biman Bangladesh Airlines announced this information in a press release on Sunday (May 18).<\/p>\n
The release said, “Due to the ongoing Hajj flights, shortage of aircraft and business realities, flight operations on the Dhaka-Narita-Dhaka route will be suspended from July 1.”<\/p>\n
The release also said, “Those who have purchased tickets for dates after July 1 will get a full refund without any additional costs. For this, passengers will have to contact Biman’s own sales office, counter or the concerned travel agent.”<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that Bangladesh Biman resumed flights on the Dhaka-Narita route on September 1, 2023. However, the route is being closed again after a year and a half. As a result, there is no longer any opportunity to fly directly from Dhaka to Japan on Bangladesh Biman.<\/p>\n
Earlier, this state-owned company had launched flights on the Dhaka-Narita route for the first time in 1981. Later, the route was closed in 2006.
