Former US President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has been diagnosed with an \u2018aggressive form\u2019 of the cancer, which has also spread to his bones.<\/p>\n
This information was given in a statement from Biden\u2019s personal office on Sunday (May 18).<\/p>\n
It said, \u2018After experiencing symptoms of increasing urination last week, Joe Biden underwent tests for a prostate nodule. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was characterized by bone metastasis, which was characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (grade group 5).\u2019<\/p>\n
The statement also said, \u2018While this is evidence of a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer may be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management or treatment.\u2019<\/p>\n
The statement also mentioned that the 82-year-old Biden and his family are \u2018reviewing treatment options\u2019 with doctors.<\/p>\n
