US President Donald Trump has arrived in Saudi Arabia. Trump arrived in Riyadh on the first day of a three-day visit to the Middle East. Through this, he began the first major international trip of his second term as US president.<\/p>\n
According to the Al Jazeera report, the US president arrived at the tarmac airport in Riyadh at around 10:30 am local time on Tuesday (May 13) Saudi Arabia, and was welcomed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.<\/p>\n
At this time, Trump and Prince Salman were seen walking on a purple carpet in the presence of dignitaries and security officials. Al Jazeera says that the two leaders were seen talking to each other inside a hall of the airport. However, it is not known what they talked about.<\/p>\n
The US president will spend part of Tuesday and Wednesday in the Saudi capital Riyadh. Then he will visit other important allies in the Gulf region – Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n
This is Trump’s first trip to the Middle East since taking office for his second term as president. The ‘historic’ Middle East tour is expected to include diplomatic activities on the Gaza and Iran issues as well as several trade deals.<\/p>\n
