Mirpur Model Police Station has arrested former Awami League MP (MP) singer Momtaz Begum in a murder case during the anti-discrimination student movement. The police will apply to the court for her seven-day remand.<\/p>\n
DMP Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed this information on Tuesday (May 13).<\/p>\n
He said that Momtaz Begum is an accused in a murder case at Mirpur Model Police Station. She will be handed over to the court after applying for remand.<\/p>\n
