Two motorcyclists were killed when a battery-powered autorickshaw and a bus collided in the capital’s Rampura Banasree area. The tragic accident occurred on the main road of F Block in Banasree at 12:15 pm on Wednesday (April 30).<\/p>\n
Although the fatal bus was seized after the accident, the driver and his assistant fled. The auto-rickshaw driver also fled. The motorcycle driver, Abdullah Al Noman, died on the spot in the accident. The injured Pavel was taken to Faraji Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. Khilgaon Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Daud Hossain, quoting witnesses, said that the motorcycle driver lost control after being hit by a battery-powered auto-rickshaw. A Miami Paribahan bus coming from behind ran over them. The motorcycle driver, Abdullah Al Noman, died on the spot. The seriously injured motorcycle rider, Md. Pavel, was taken to Faraji Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. The deceased, Abdul Al Mamun, was born in Rupganj, Narayanganj. He lived in Shahjahanpur in the capital.
