The interim government’s chief advisor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, will present the Swadhinata Puraskar 2025 on Tuesday, March 25. The awards will be distributed at 10:30 am on that day at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital.<\/p>\n

Seven eminent personalities are receiving the Swadhinata Puraskar 2025 in recognition of their glorious and meritorious contributions at the national level. The Cabinet Division issued a notification on March 11 listing the nominees for the highest national award.<\/p>\n
The individuals who will receive the Independence Award this time are: Professor Jamal Nazrul Islam (posthumously) in science and technology, Mir Abdus Shukur Al Mahmud (posthumously) in literature, Novera Ahmed (posthumously) in culture, Sir Fazle Hasan Abed (posthumously) in social service, Mohammad Mahbubul Haque Khan alias Azam Khan (posthumously) in liberation war and culture, Badruddin Mohammad Umar in education and research, and Abrar Fahad (posthumously) in protest youth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
