French President Emmanuel Macron said Russian aggression has \u201cno boundaries\u201d and is a direct threat to Europe. Macron made the remarks on Wednesday ahead of an emergency defense summit of the 27 leaders of the European Union (EU) in Brussels on Thursday.<\/p>\n
His remarks came at a time when the future of relations between European countries and the United States and the European military alliance NATO are uncertain over the Ukraine issue. \u201cWho believes that today\u2019s Russia will stop in Ukraine?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n
EU leaders are meeting for the first time since a heated meeting between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House on February 28. It is believed that they will take decisive decisions on the fate of Europe without the United States in the context of uncertain relations with the United States.
