The government has changed the name of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 (BS-1). The satellite has been renamed Bangladesh Satellite-1 (BS-1). This information was given in a notification signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology Mohammad Rafiqul Islam on Monday.<\/p>\n
The notification said that the proposal to change the name of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 (BS-1) to Bangladesh Satellite-1 (BS-1) has been approved by the Chief Advisor. In this situation, a request has been made to take further necessary steps in this regard.<\/p>\n
