It is learnt that the daughter of India’s Youth and Sports Minister Raksha Khadka was molested at a Shivratri fair in Maharashtra. After that, she filed a complaint with the police. Along with this, this junior minister has also raised questions about the safety of women in Maharashtra.<\/p>\n
Today, Sunday, the Youth and Sports Minister went to the police to lodge a complaint. The ruling BJP leader told reporters outside the police station, ‘Every year on Shivratri, a fair is organised in Kothali. My daughter went to this fair the day before yesterday and some boys molested her there. I have come here to lodge a complaint. I have come here to seek justice as a mother. Not as a minister or an MP.’<\/p>\n
After she filed a complaint with the police, the opposition Indian Congress has raised a voice about law and order in the state.<\/p>\n
Muktinagar Police Deputy Superintendent Kushant Pingde said that the accused misbehaved with some girls. At that time, when their bodyguards stopped them, they got into a fight. He named seven accused. One of them has been arrested.<\/p>\n
However, claiming that there is no political pressure in this case, the police officer said that a case has been registered on charges of molestation.
