Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman said, “All members of the army must be ready to perform their highest duties in the needs of the country.”<\/p>\n
He said this at the inauguration ceremony of the 7th ‘Colonel of the Regiment’ at the Bangladesh Infantry Regimental Center at the Parade Ground of Rajshahi Cantonment on Thursday at 9:30 am.<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that through this, the Army Chief assumed the guardianship of the Bangladesh Infantry Regimental Center.<\/p>\n
At the ceremony, the Army Chief said, “The Infantry Regiment has been performing its duties responsibly since 1971.”<\/p>\n
He said that in the future, this regiment will be made more modern and capable.<\/p>\n
In addition, Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman urged all members of the regiment to always be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century through modern and up-to-date training.<\/p>\n
The ceremony was attended by the Army Chief, senior officers of the Bangladesh Infantry Regiment and many others.<\/p>\n
