Md. Obaidur Rahman has been appointed as the new secretary of the Ministry of Industries. A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Obaidur Rahman was serving as the additional secretary of the Important Appointments, Promotions and Postings (APD) Division of the Ministry of Public Administration.<\/p>\n
The notification signed by Jamila Shabnam, Deputy Secretary (Senior Appointments-1) of the Ministry of Public Administration, said that this order issued in the public interest will come into effect immediately.<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that on February 20, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Industries, Zakia Sultana was sent on compulsory retirement. The ministry informed that she was given compulsory retirement due to her stance against the July-August bill.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
