Colombian singer Shakira has canceled a concert after being hospitalized due to illness. Shakira herself confirmed the matter in a post on social media.<\/p>\n
The singer said that she had to go to the hospital emergency room last Saturday night. She is currently under observation. Treatment is underway.<\/p>\n
Today, she expressed her regret and announced the cancellation of the show on her Shakira X handle, which was previously known as Twitter. The Colombian star wrote, “I am very sorry to inform you that last night I had to go to the emergency room due to stomach pain. I am currently hospitalized.”<\/p>\n
Today, the singer also said that doctors have forbidden her to perform. As a result, she is not in a condition to perform on stage. Shakira also said that she is very sorry for postponing the show because she was looking forward to performing in front of her Peruvian fans.<\/p>\n
