In this regard, on Friday night, some members of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement were attacked at the house of former Liberation War Affairs Minister and Gazipur District Awami League President AKM Mozammel Haque in the Dhirashram Dakshinkhan area of \u200b\u200bGazipur city. Thirteen people were seriously injured. A frightening situation arose after this attack on the leaders and activists of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Gazipur. The victims say that even six months after the interim government took office, the security fears among the people have not subsided. Murders, robberies and kidnappings are spreading panic. People do not have confidence and trust in the police due to incidents such as attacks on security forces and kidnapping of accused. The police are being attacked while performing security duties and arresting accused. There are also incidents of snatching of arrested accused from the police. People are fed up with extortion in businesses, bus stations and market ghats. People are even afraid to leave their homes at night. Now, those concerned believe that Operation Devil Hunt can bring relief to the public.<\/p>\n
Police say that security arrangements have been strengthened across the country, including Dhaka, to maintain law and order. Dhaka Metropolitan Police spokesperson Talebur Rahman said that security has been increased in the capital, Dhaka.
