The populous city of Dhaka tops the list of the world’s most polluted cities with hazardous air. As of 9:30 am on Monday, the city’s Air Quality Index (AQI) score was 301. According to the standard, which is considered ‘hazardous’.<\/p>\n
An AQI score between 101 and 200 is considered ‘unhealthy’ for sensitive groups. An AQI score between 201 and 300 is considered ‘very unhealthy’ and an AQI between 301 and 400 is considered ‘hazardous’.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Pakistan’s Lahore is in second place in the list of the world’s most polluted cities with a score of 243.
