Power and Energy Minister: Gas supply will be normal in the next 2 to 3 days

Power and Energy Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmud has said that gas supply will be normal in the next 2 to 3 days. He said that gas supply to the LNG terminal will start from this Thursday (August 6) afternoon. He gave this information at a briefing organized on the occasion of the inauguration of Accelerate Energy’s floating LNG terminal at the capital’s Secretariat today.
Regarding the additional electricity bill, the minister said that everyone is complaining about fake electricity bills. However, no one is coming to the concerned authorities with the correct documents. In the briefing, he also informed about regular meetings with the Indian Ambassador to Bangladesh. He said that in the meeting of the Indian High Commissioner, a request has been made to supply more diesel through the pipeline.
