China reiterates its unwavering support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state

Beijing has reiterated its unwavering and firm support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state. Sun Zhen, China’s ambassador to Palestine, highlighted the country’s consistent position. This information was reported by the Palestinian official news agency ‘Wafa’ on Monday (August 3).
According to the report, at a press conference held at the Chinese embassy in Ramallah, Sun Zhen pledged to continue China’s uninterrupted humanitarian and development assistance to the Palestinians. At the same time, he expressed his willingness to further consolidate China-Palestine bilateral relations and take them to a new height.
Referring to his recent meetings with top Palestinian leaders, the Chinese diplomat said that he had witnessed with his own eyes the extreme injustice and injustice continuously imposed on the ordinary Palestinian people.
Sun Zhen also noted that this year marks the third anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership between China and Palestine. He affirmed that on this occasion, China will continue to make efforts to further expand bilateral and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
