House and 3 shops gutted in fire in Rangamati

A house and 3 furniture shops were gutted in a fire in Langadu, Rangamati. The incident took place early Monday (August 3). Locals said that a fire broke out at a furniture shop in the Ghantachara area of ​​​​Maynimukh Union in the early hours of the morning. It later spread to the surrounding areas.
Upon receiving information, members of the army and fire brigade reached the spot. Later, the fire was brought under control with the joint efforts of the locals. The victims claimed that they suffered a loss of about 1 crore taka in the fire. Initially, it is believed that the fire may have started from an electrical short circuit. Meanwhile, an investigation is underway to determine the actual cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
