Banani Taekwondo Club wins 37 medals at International Taekwondo Championship in Pattaya, Thailand

Banani Taekwondo Club of Bangladesh achieved great success at the 9th Heroes Taekwondo International Championship-2026 held in Pattaya, Thailand. The club’s players won a total of 37 medals by participating in 39 events of the competition. These include 10 gold, 17 silver and 10 bronze medals. In addition, the club’s Taekwondo Dance team secured fifth place in the team event.

This was the first international Kyorugi (sparring) competition for many of the Banani Taekwondo Club players who participated in the championship. Participating in the international arena for the first time, they competed with courage, discipline and confidence, proving their capabilities.


The club’s players represented Bangladesh in the competition by participating in poomsae, kyorugi, speed kick, pair and team events. The club authorities expressed satisfaction with their performance.


Banani Taekwondo Club informed that the hard work of the players, the relentless efforts of the coaches and the continuous support of the parents played an important role behind this achievement. It was also informed that the club will continue to work towards achieving greater success at the international level in the future.
