Three killed in US restaurant shooting

At least three people were killed and two others were injured in a shooting at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in the US state of Idaho. The injured are in critical condition and are hospitalized, Reuters reported. The incident occurred at around 2:30 pm local time on Saturday (August 1).
Police said the attacker entered the restaurant’s dining area with a gun at noon. They also said the suspected attacker was also killed. However, police did not clarify whether the attacker was among the three people killed. It is also not known how he died. An investigation has already been launched to determine the cause of the attack. Meanwhile, the Twin Falls Police Department said on Facebook that roads adjacent to the scene and a nearby bridge were temporarily closed for safety reasons.
After the tragic incident, Idaho Senator Mike Crapo and other state representatives praised the quick response of emergency services and expressed deep condolences to the victims. Twin Falls, a city of about 47,400 people, is located in Idaho’s Magic Valley region.
