4 more children die of measles symptoms
Four more children have died of measles symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours. As a result, the total number of deaths from measles and its symptoms from March 15 to Thursday (July 30) has reached 835. This information was given by the Directorate General of Health Services in a regular report on measles today (July 30).
The report said that 1,05 more people have been identified as infected with measles and its symptoms in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, two children have died of measles symptoms in Dhaka division alone. In addition, one more child has died of measles symptoms in Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions during this period.
In total, a total of 835 people have died of measles and its symptoms across the country from March 15 to Thursday. Of these, 739 people showed measles symptoms and 96 died of measles. Meanwhile, 135 new measles patients have been identified across the country in the last 24 hours. In addition, 870 more people have shown symptoms of the disease during this period.
As a result, a total of 1,27,410 people have been diagnosed with measles symptoms from March 15 to Thursday. A total of 15,874 people have been diagnosed with measles during the same period. According to the report of the Directorate General of Health Services, a total of 1,10,182 people have been admitted to hospitals across the country with measles and its symptoms from March 15 to Thursday. Of them, 16,053 have recovered and been discharged from the hospital so far.
