Helicopter crash in Argentina kills 7
A helicopter crashed in Argentina’s San Juan province, killing seven people. The accident occurred on Wednesday (July 29), Xinhua reported. The Bell 412 helicopter lost contact with the control room at around 10:30 am local time.
The helicopter crashed on its way to fight a wildfire in La Rioja province after training in San Juan. Another helicopter was later sent to find the wreckage of the crashed helicopter.
The governor of San Juan said that all seven people on board the helicopter were killed. The deceased included the director of civil defense, the chief of the fire department and the deputy chief of police. Meanwhile, police are investigating the cause of the helicopter crash.
