Police constable’s hanging body recovered in Bhola

The police have recovered the body of a police constable named Sahabuddin from Bhola in Barisal district. His hanging body was recovered from a rented house in the Officer Para area of ​​the city on Tuesday (July 28) afternoon. The deceased Sahabuddin (42) is a resident of Gournadi upazila in Barisal district. He was working in the Bhola court.
Sheikh Nasir Uddin, the police officer-in-charge (OC) of the Bhola court, said, “Sahabuddin was on duty around 9 am, but he was called when he did not join work at the scheduled time. Unable to find him on the phone, his colleagues went to his house and found the door locked from inside. Later, the door of the house was broken open and his hanging body was recovered.”
Monirul Islam, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Bhola Sadar Model Police Station, said, “The body has been sent to the Bhola Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.” “It is initially believed that Constable Sahabuddin committed suicide due to mental stress. Preparations are underway to file a wrongful death case in this regard.”
