At least 15 killed in Russian strikes in Ukraine

At least 15 people have been killed in Russian strikes in Ukraine, including 10 killed in a ballistic missile attack on a drone exhibition near the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, the BBC reported on Saturday (July 25).
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said about 100 people had been injured in a Russian strike on a defence exhibition during the day. A Russian glide bomb attack on the eastern city of Sloviansk killed another five people. Early on Saturday, military officials confirmed two deaths in the northern city of Sumy.
On Friday evening, Zelensky said Russia was preparing another large-scale missile strike, which could happen within the next 48 hours. A Ukrainian strike on the Russian city of Kirov, more than 1,000 kilometres (600 miles) from the war zone, killed six people and injured 26. Ukraine also struck warehouses of Russia’s largest online retailer, Wildberries.
The attack near Kiev initially raised concerns about the safety of Defense Ministry adviser Serhiy Beskrestnov, also known as Flash, and Lyuba Shipovich, who is involved in developing technology for the Ukrainian military.
After the incident, both confirmed their safety on social media, and Beskrestnov said he had stayed away from the event due to security concerns. Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat told Ukrainian media that three ballistic missiles were used in the attack, only one of which was intercepted.
