The movement will not stop without the resignation of India’s Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, said Kakroch Janata Party spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka. He said this in an interview given to Indian media NDTV at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Friday (July 24).
Ranka said that there is no other option but for Dharmendra Pradhan to resign. This is not just a matter of the protesters at Jantar Mantar. The people of the entire country now have one clear demand that this person should go or he should be dismissed. He has completely failed as the Education Minister and there is no other option at this time.
Ashutosh Ranka also said that we have told the government unequivocally that no other step will be acceptable except resignation or dismissal. There is no middle ground here. The issue is no longer limited to this protest at Jantar Mantar. Protests are taking place across the country and the government should pay attention to the feelings of the common people.
