Two more children have died of measles symptoms in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 946 new measles cases have been reported. This information was given by the Directorate General of Health Services in its regular report on measles on Thursday (July 9). This calculation was made from 8 am yesterday, Wednesday to 8 am today.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, a total of 747 children have died of measles symptoms and confirmed measles since March 15 this year. Of these, 654 children have died of measles symptoms and 93 children have died of confirmed measles. The Directorate General of Health Services said that in the last 24 hours, 818 more children in the country have reported measles symptoms. As a result, the number of patients with measles symptoms has increased to 1 lakh 8 thousand 998 since March 15.
In the last 24 hours, 128 more people have been diagnosed with measles through tests. As a result, the total number of confirmed measles patients in the country since March 15 has stood at 13 thousand 198. Since March 15, 92,031 people have been hospitalized with measles symptoms. Of these, 88,419 have recovered and been discharged from the hospital after treatment.
