Dhaka University gymnasium to be opened for female students
For the first time in the 105-year history of Dhaka University, a modern gymnasium is going to be opened for female students. The gymnasium, built at a cost of about 65 lakh taka by the initiative of Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU), has been set up on the second floor of the Physical Education Center.
On Tuesday (June 30), DUCSU Vice President and Central International Secretary of Islami Chhatra Shibir Sadiq Kayem gave this information in a post on his social media Facebook.
The post said, ‘For the first time in the history of Dhaka University, a gymnasium with state-of-the-art facilities is going to be opened for female students. This modern gymnasium has been prepared at a cost of about 65 lakh taka by the initiative of DUCSU. From now on, female students of Dhaka University will be one step ahead in physical and mental health.’
