180 hospitalized with dengue
In the last 24 hours, 180 patients have been admitted to various hospitals in the country due to dengue. This information was given in a press release regarding dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Tuesday (June 30).
It said that among the patients admitted to hospitals due to dengue in the last 24 hours, 42 are in Barisal division (outside the City Corporation), 24 in Chittagong division (outside the City Corporation), 16 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 17 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 26 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 35 in Khulna division (outside the City Corporation), 9 in Mymensingh division (outside the City Corporation), 9 in Rajshahi division (outside the City Corporation) and 2 in Rangpur division (outside the City Corporation).
In the last 24 hours, 117 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals. So far this year, 5,632 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals. As of June 30 this year, 4,104 people have been infected with dengue. Of these, 62.2 percent are men and 37.8 percent are women. No one has died of dengue in the last 24 hours. This year, 18 people have died of dengue.
From January 1 to December 31, 2025, 1,2861 people have been infected with dengue and 413 have died. From January 1 to December 31, 2024, 1,1214 people have been infected with dengue and 575 have died. From January 1 to December 31, 2023, 1,705 people have died of dengue. In addition, 321,179 people have been hospitalized due to dengue.
