Rafi dies 12 days after being hit by a brick from a moving motorcycle

Sajid Chowdhury Rafi, who was seriously injured after being hit by a brick thrown from a moving motorcycle in Sheorapara, Mirpur, has died while undergoing treatment. Rafi died at Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Hospital on Monday (June 22) morning.
Earlier, on the night of June 10, a brick was thrown at Sajid Chowdhury Rafi while he was on a moving motorcycle. He was seriously injured after being hit by the brick. He was later admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He was undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) there.
In this incident, Rafi’s family has filed a case of attempt to murder with Kafrul Police Station. Law enforcement agencies have said that some locals were involved in the incident.
