The 11-party alliance has alleged that the genocide trial process is slow, the law and order situation is very bad and leaders and workers are being attacked. In protest, they will hold a protest rally in the capital tomorrow, Tuesday (June 23).
Hamidur Rahman Azad, coordinator of the 11-party alliance, gave this information at a press conference at the Jamaat central office in Moghbazar on Monday (June 22) morning. He said that the 11-party alliance has called for a protest rally in Bijoynagar in the capital tomorrow afternoon on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the banned Awami League. Where top leaders of the 11-party alliance will be present.
The alliance has also announced a protest march in all districts on July 4 with the same demand. The coordinator of the 11-party alliance said that the government has no headache even though neighboring countries are stockpiling weapons on the border. However, the 11 parties are concerned about these incidents. Hamidur Rahman Azad said that the government is also failing in issues like killings and forced entry on the border.
He said that if any banned party wanted to carry out their activities around June 23, it was the responsibility of the government, not any party, to prevent it. He also commented that the law and order situation in the country at that time was worse than before.
