BNP leader Rashed Khan has strongly criticized Madaripur-1 MP Pirzada Sayeed Uddin Ahmed Hanzala. In a post on social media, he alleged that Hanzala was in close contact with top Awami League leaders during the mass uprising, but is currently trying to present himself as a supporting force for the movement.
Today, Monday (June 22), Rashed Khan said in his post, “Hanzala, who used to hang out with Awami fascists, now wants to live in a zoo with tigers. Those who met the fascist Home Minister during the mass uprising and said, ‘We are not in the movement’, are now presenting themselves as big revolutionaries.” He also claimed that Hanzala did not show any pro-movement stance before August 5. In his words, ‘I never heard this revolutionary roar before August 5. Then he would sit on the Home Minister’s sofa like a cat.’
The BNP leader also said, ‘We are not the spring cuckoos that flew after the mass uprising. When these two-day bairagis would appear at the fascist Home Minister’s house, we would appear in court. When they would shout slogans about Sheikh Hasina, we would raise questions – is this her father’s state? That is why I have served time in jail.’
In the last part of the post, Rashed Khan alleged that currently some people are trying to take a stand against BNP workers. He said, ‘If these cannibalistic bairagis want to become hyenas, we also know the medicine to stop hyenas.’
