Housewife dies after tree falls in Matiranga
A housewife named Swapna Saha died after a tree fell on her in Matiranga, Khagrachari. The tragic incident occurred on Saturday (June 20) when a dry coconut tree fell on her while she was working in the yard of her house in Bali Tila, Matiranga.
The deceased Swapna Saha is the wife of Lalit Saha of Bali Tila area. The deceased’s husband Lalit Saha said that he was working in the yard of his house in Bali Tila area of the upazila around 4 pm yesterday.
At that time, a dry coconut tree in the house fell on her. She was seriously injured. Family members immediately took her to Matiranga Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor declared her dead. The deceased Swapna Saha has two sons and two daughters.
