Gold price increases, 6,500 taka per bhori

After reducing it four times, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has decided to increase the price of gold in the country’s market. This time, the organization has increased the price of 22-carat gold by 6,590 taka to 2,24,940 taka. BAJUS gave this information in a press release on Saturday (June 13) morning. The new price will be effective from 10 am today.
The statement said that the price of pure gold in the local market has increased. As a result, the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation. According to the new price, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) in the country’s market will be 2,24,940 taka. In addition, the price of 21-carat gold has been determined at 214,734 taka, 18-carat gold at 184,058 taka and 18-carat gold at 149,882 taka.
Earlier, the last gold price adjustment in the country’s market was made on the morning of June 11. At that time, the company had reduced the price of 22-carat gold by 4,432 taka and the price of 18-carat gold by 2,18,350 taka. In addition, the price of 21-carat gold has been fixed at 218,436 taka, the price of 18-carat gold at 178,692 taka and the price of 18-carat gold at 145,508 taka. Which is effective from 10 am that day.
In this regard, so far this year, the price of gold has been adjusted 74 times in the domestic market. Where the price has been increased 38 times; reduced 36 times. Along with the increase in the price of gold, the price of silver has also been increased in the domestic market. The price of 22-carat bhori has been increased by 291 taka per bhori to 5,132 taka. In addition, the price of 21-carat bhori has been fixed at 4,899 taka per bhori, 4,199 taka per bhori for 18-carat and 3,149 taka per bhori for traditional silver.
