1890 pieces of Yaba seized at the border, 1 person arrested
Border Guard Battalion Bangladesh (BGB) has arrested a drug dealer named Sagar Mia from the border with 1890 pieces of Yaba. A case was filed at Tahirpur Police Station in Sunamganj yesterday (May 16) and he was handed over to the court. The arrested Sagar is the son of Raham Ali of Barachhara village on the Tekerghat border in Tahirpur district.
28-Border Guard Battalion Sunamganj (BGB) Commander Lt. Col. AKM Zakaria Qadir confirmed this information. The BGB commander said that a BGB patrol team from the battalion’s Birendranagar BOP arrested Sagar in Tahirpur on Friday evening. After that, 1890 pieces of Yaba tablets and a motorcycle were seized from him. BGB Havildar Nurul Islam of Birendranagar BOP has filed a case as the plaintiff in this incident.
