US forces will be attacked if they enter Hormuz: IRGC
Donald Trump announced the launch of a naval operation to safely evacuate ships stuck in the Strait of Hormuz. Following this, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reacted strongly. They claimed that the security of the Strait of Hormuz is fully under the control of the Iranian armed forces. Therefore, any ship movement through this route must be coordinated with the Iranian forces.
In a statement, the Iranian military said that any attempt by any commercial ship or oil tanker to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without the permission of the forces deployed in the Strait of Hormuz could put their security at risk. Tehran also warned that any foreign forces, especially US troops, trying to enter the Strait of Hormuz would be attacked.
