BERC sets LP gas price

The price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder at the consumer level has been kept unchanged at Tk 1,940 for the month of May. The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced this on Sunday (May 3). The new price will be effective from 6 pm today. The agency said that the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder for the month of May has been kept unchanged at Tk 1,940. Earlier, the price of LP gas was adjusted twice last month.
On April 2, the price of a 12 kg cylinder was increased by Tk 387 to Tk 1,728. Then on April 19, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission increased the price of a 12 kg cylinder by Tk 212 to Tk 1,940.
Meanwhile, the price of autogas including VAT for the month of May has been fixed at Tk 89.52 per liter. Earlier, the price of autogas was adjusted twice last month. On April 2, the price of autogas at the consumer level, including VAT, was increased by Tk 17.94 per liter to Tk 79.77 per liter. On April 19, BERC increased the price of autogas at the consumer level, including VAT, by Tk 9.73 per liter to Tk 89.50 per liter.
