Youth dies after being run over by train in Narsingdi

A youth named Asadullah (30) died after being run over by a train in Narsingdi. The accident occurred on Wednesday (April 15) afternoon when he fell under the Dhaka-bound Suborna Express train in Arshinagar area of ​​Sadar upazila. Asadullah is the son of Monir Mia of Banshgari village of Raipura upazila.
Locals said that the Suborna Express train that left Chittagong this afternoon was passing over Narsingdi. At that time, he fell under the train while carelessly running over the railway line in Arshinagar area and died on the spot. On receiving the information, the Railway Police recovered his body from the spot and brought it to the Narsingdi Railway Police outpost.
SI Dilip Chandra Sarkar, in-charge of Narsingdi Railway Police outpost, said that the identity of the deceased has been initially identified. The family members have been contacted. Further legal action will be taken when they arrive.
