Israel is trying to cover up its defeat through talks: Hezbollah

Hassan Fadlallah, a member of parliament for the Lebanese political and military group Hezbollah, has claimed that Israel and the United States are trying to cover up their defeat through talks with Lebanon. Al Jazeera reported this. In a statement, he said that the Lebanese authorities should reconsider their position and return to the side of the people.
Fadlallah also claimed that by withdrawing troops from southern Lebanon, the government has put the region at risk and allowed their enemy Israel to act independently. He alleged that the exclusion of Lebanon from the Tehran-Washington negotiation process was an Israeli demand. However, the decision to keep Beirut out of the talks held in Pakistan was taken because of the position of the Lebanese government.
