President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran does not want war or instability. He added that Iran has always emphasized dialogue and constructive diplomacy. He made the remarks while visiting various departments of emergency services in Tehran on Wednesday (April 15), according to state news agency IRNA.
President Pezeshkian said that if the United States tries to impose its will or force Iran to surrender, they will fail. He also warned that the Iranian people will never accept such a move. He added that what justification can there be for targeting civilians, prominent figures, children and destroying important centers including schools and hospitals within the framework of international law and humanitarian principles?
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has said that the Iran war is coming to an end soon. He said this in an interview with Fox News.
In a broadcast interview, Trump was heard saying that he thinks the war is almost over. He claimed that if he had not gone to war with Iran, the country would have acquired nuclear weapons by now. Trump also claimed that it would take Tehran 20 years to rebuild the damage caused by the US attack. The US president again claimed that Iran is desperate to reach a deal.
