Oman, Iran discuss maintaining normal navigation in the Strait of Hormuz

Oman and Iran have held talks to maintain normal navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera reported on Sunday (April 5).
The deputy foreign ministers of the two countries met to discuss ways to ensure “safe and unimpeded navigation” in the vital waterway.
According to a report by Oman’s state news agency Oman News Agency, members of both countries have presented various proposals and plans to maintain the stability of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important oil transportation routes.
