At least 12 medical workers have been killed in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon, the French news agency AFP reported on Saturday (March 14), citing Lebanese health authorities. Lebanese health authorities said 12 doctors, paramedics and nurses were killed in an attack on a health center in the southern Lebanese town of Burj Qaluyeh.
Earlier, two paramedics linked to Hezbollah and its affiliate Amal Movement were killed in a separate attack in the town of Sawaneh.
Meanwhile, Iran and Hezbollah have resumed attacks in various parts of Israel. Several casualties were reported in the latest attacks. The attacks were carried out in the northern Upper Galilee region. Since the area is close to the Lebanese border, there is also a risk of Hezbollah rocket attacks.
