India: Jindal Steel bags another iron ore block in Odisha’s auction
Jindal Steel Ltd has emerged as the highest bidder for the Rengalaberha North-East Extension and Nuagan west iron ore mine block auction offering a premium of 111.15%. The block, of around 0.844 square kilometers, is located in Kendujhar district of Odisha and has geological resources of 37.95 mnt. The mine comprises deposits of average-grade Fe 57.87%.
