Soft Gold Price, How Much is a Bhori?

Despite the tension in the global market, the price of gold has decreased in the domestic market. After increasing the price 6 times in a row, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price by 9,214 taka per bhori. The new price is effective from 10 am today. BAJUS gave this information in a notification on Wednesday (March 4) morning. The price of a bhori of 22 carat gold has been fixed at 2 lakh 68 thousand 214 taka.
According to the BAJUS notification, the price of pure gold has decreased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been fixed considering the overall situation. Earlier, BAJUS increased the price of a bhori of 22 carat gold by 3 thousand 324 taka to 2 lakh 77 thousand 428 taka. After last Saturday, the price of gold has also been increased on Monday. As a result, the price of good quality 22 carat gold has increased to 2 lakh 74 thousand 104 taka per bhori.
Last week, the price of gold was increased twice. The service price was increased by 5,482 taka in two phases. This time, it has increased by more than 4,000 taka in one phase. So far this year, gold prices have been adjusted 37 times in the country’s market, with prices increasing 24 times and decreasing 13 times.
