Brazil: Ferrous scrap exports surge 29% y-o-y in CY25
- Brazils ferrous scrap exports increased by around 29% y-o-y to 849,411 t in CY’25 from 656,300 t in CY’24.
- In CY’25, India led the importers list with 607,253 t, accounting for over 71% of the total volume, followed by Bangladesh (120,142 t), Pakistan (28,594 t), and the UAE (25,863 t).
- Additionally, in Jan’26, Brazil exported 67,375 t of ferrous scrap.
