Bangladeshi killed in Iranian missile attack in Bahrain

A Bangladeshi worker was killed and two others were injured in an Iranian missile attack in Bahrain. Bangladeshi Ambassador to the country Md. Raees Hasan Sarwar confirmed the casualties. Iran has been targeting US installations in various countries in the Middle East since last Saturday (February 28) in response to the joint attacks by the United States and Israel.
A Bangladeshi was killed and two others were injured when missile debris fell on a ship in a sea area near the capital Manama, Bahrain, on Monday (March 2) morning local time. In a post on social media, Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior said that the fire that broke out in the sea area near the capital Manama has been extinguished.
The Bangladeshi ambassador to Bahrain said that the name of the expatriate Bangladeshi killed in the missile attack is Mohammad Tarek (48). Tarek lives in Azimpur Union of Sandwip Upazila of Chittagong. The attack occurred while on duty at a drydock shipyard in Bahrain early Monday (March 2).
