Nepals rebar market weakened this week, with prices falling by NPR 500/t ($3)w-o-w to NPR 75,500-77,500/t ($517-531) for cash guarantee deals and NPR 77,500-79,500/tor bank guarantee sales. Demand remained subdued due to weak cash flow, slow construction activity, and upcoming elections. The lack of major infrastructure projects further pressured sentiment. Meanwhile, IFEAF wire rod prices dropped by $15/t to around $510/t CNF Raxaul.
