Joint Israeli-US strikes on Iranian sites
Israel and the US have carried out strikes on various sites in Iran. According to the BBC, Israel is claiming that this is a ‘pre-emptive strike’ on Iran.
In response to the incident, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has declared a state of emergency in the country. He said that the move was taken to prevent a possible counterattack.
