Gulzar gets first job in administration cadre
Gulzar Rahman, a 12th batch student of Jagannath University (JU) and a student of the Department of Sociology for the 2016-17 academic year, has secured first place in the administration cadre in the final results of the 46th BCS examination. He is a resident of Sundarganj Upazila in Gaibandha district. Gulzar Rahman passed his SSC from Uzan Teora TUM High School in Sundarganj Upazila in 2014 and his HSC from Dhubani Kanchibari Degree College. His father is a farmer and his mother is a housewife.
In this regard, Gulzar Rahman said, “With the infinite mercy of Almighty Allah and the prayers of everyone, I have been able to secure first place in the administration cadre. I want to dedicate myself to the service of the country and the people. I seek everyone’s blessings.” Earlier, the Public Service Commission (PSC) released the final results of the 46th BCS yesterday, Sunday (February 8). Out of these, 1,457 candidates have been initially recommended for appointment in various cadres.
The PSC has issued a notification stating that the nominations of the candidates have been made subject to verification of the certificates, documents and information attached to the application form. Final appointments will be made after medical examination, verification of educational qualifications and pre-employment resume verification before appointment. If any wrong information, fake certificates or fraud is proven, then legal action will be taken including cancellation of the nomination of the concerned candidate, the notification mentioned.
