A 5.3-magnitude earthquake has struck Mohar in Iran’s Fars province. The earthquake was felt in the province at 8:11 a.m. local time on Sunday (February 1). The depth of the earthquake was just 10 kilometers from the ground.
The German Geological Survey confirmed the earthquake. Initial reports showed that many people near the epicenter felt it. However, no major tremors were reported due to the impact. It is being said that due to the intensity of the earthquake, things may fall from shelves and windows in houses may break. Volcano Discovery, a website related to eruptions and earthquakes, reported that the earthquake was initially reported to be 5.3 in magnitude. It was also 10 kilometers deep.
