India: Around 60,000 t of iron ore booked at NMDC Chhattisgarh’s auctions
At NMDC Chhattisgarh’s iron ore auctions on 30 Jan’26, 59,900-t iron ore were sold.
- Bacheli mines: 21,500-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) booked at 20% premium (base price INR 5,190/t), 25,500-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) at INR 4,540/t, 12,900-t fines (-10 mm, Fe 60%) at INR 3,150/t.
- Kirandul mines: 62,000-t (Fe 64%) fines remained unsold against base price INR 3,930/t.
Prices are on FOR/ FOT basis, excluding royalty, DMF, and NMEDT.
