Taiwan: Tang Eng raises Feb’26 stainless steel prices tracking market uptrend
Taiwan-based Tang Eng Iron Works announced Feb’26 stainless steel price hikes on 30 Jan, aligning with recent increases by Yieh United Steel Corp. The producer raised prices of 304-series hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils by TWD$7,000/t, while surcharges on 316L stainless steel were increased by TWD$3,500/t. This marks Tang Eng’s third consecutive monthly hike, reflecting sustained cost pressure and a firm price trend.
